This policy explains what personal data nicodigitals.site collects, why, and what you can do about it. Nico Digitals is run by Nico Bernaola, who is responsible for your data. For any privacy question or request, email ngbernaola@gmail.com.
What I collect
- Analytics data (only if you accept cookies): pages you visit, how long you stay, the site that referred you, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (country/city). This is collected by Google Analytics 4, which does not store your IP address.
- Newsletter data (only if you subscribe and confirm by email): your first name, your last name if you give it, and your email address. You're only added after clicking the confirmation link Mailchimp sends you.
- Technical data: like any website, the site's host (Vercel) receives your IP address and browser information when you load a page, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Cookies and local storage
Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are only set after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. They last up to 2 years. If you reject them, no analytics cookies are set.
Your cookie choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage, so the banner doesn't ask you again. The Mi Pastorcito product page also stores its offer timer in session storage. Neither is sent to anyone.
You can change your choice at any time: . If you withdraw consent, the analytics cookies are deleted.
I honor Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, I treat it as a rejection: the cookie banner isn't shown and no analytics cookies are set, unless you choose to accept them yourself in the cookie settings.
Why I use your data
- Analytics: to understand which content is useful and improve the site. Legal basis: your consent.
- Newsletter: to send you resources and updates you asked for. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw with the unsubscribe link in every email.
- Technical data: to run the site securely. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Who processes your data
I don't sell your data or share it for advertising. I use these services to run the site, and they process data on my behalf:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC): website analytics, only with your consent.
- Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.): newsletter delivery.
- Google Fonts (Google LLC): the site's fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
- Sanity (Sanity AS): stores the site's content and serves its images.
- Vercel (Vercel Inc.): hosts and serves the site, and briefly keeps request logs for security and performance.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside your country. They protect these transfers with standard safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Affiliate links and third-party sites
Some links on this site are affiliate links, mainly to Hotmart. If you buy through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Purchases and payments happen entirely on Hotmart or the seller's site, under their own privacy policies. I never see your payment details. Those sites may set their own cookies once you visit them.
How long I keep your data
- Analytics data: up to 14 months, then Google deletes it automatically.
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it.
Your rights
This site has visitors from all over the world, so I give the same rights to everyone, wherever you live: you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how it's used, or get a copy of it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Just email ngbernaola@gmail.com and I'll reply within 30 days. I may ask you to confirm the request comes from you, for example by replying from the email address you subscribed with.
If you think your data is being mishandled, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, for example a national authority in the EU or UK (such as Spain's AEPD), Argentina's AAIP or Brazil's ANPD.
California residents
Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information I collect, to delete or correct it, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. In the last 12 months I have collected identifiers (name, email address), internet activity (pages viewed, only with consent) and approximate location, for the purposes described above. I do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, I honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out, and I don't collect sensitive personal information. Brazil residents
Under the LGPD, you have the rights listed above, plus the right to confirm whether I process your data and to be told who I share it with (the services listed in "Who processes your data"). To exercise them, email ngbernaola@gmail.com.
Children
This site isn't aimed at children under 16, and I don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given me their data, email ngbernaola@gmail.com and I'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle your data, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
